Women's Bowling Open's Sesaon in Louisville
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – At Ten Pin Strike & Spare Family Fun Center, the Lindsey Wilson women's bowling team opened its 2023-24 season with a fourth-place finish in the Bulldog Bash, hosted by Union College (Ky.).
Maylee Price and Austyn Raymer paced the Blue Raiders with respective top-ten finishes. The latter of the two averaged 161.75 across four games with a total pinfall of 647, while Price ended up just one spot behind and a total pin count of 633.
Tara Manis – 18th place – started the weekend with a 235, the highest first game of the tournament, then closed with an average of 170.
Janna Plains (23rd, 141.33 average), Abigail Oswald (25th, 135), Chloe Tooley (27th, 132.5), Brooklynne Carroll (30th, 135), and Makayla Melson (31st, 125) also represented Lindsey Wilson during the weekend.
The Blue Raiders are back in action on October 21 and 22 in Dayton, Ohio for the Baker "Orange" and "Black" Tournament.
