Women’s Swimming Defeats Campbellsville & Union Saturday
CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson women's swimming team picked up victories over Campbellsville and Union Saturday in a meet hosted by Campbellsville.
The Blue Raiders defeated the Tigers 147-27 and picked up a 129-54 victory over the Bulldogs while picking up eight wins three NAIA Provisional standards.
Natalia Gorska earned a provisional time in the 50-meter freestyle. Gorska finished first with a time of 27.40. Gorska later earned her second win and provisional time in the 100 free. She touched the wall in 1:01.62. Sara Motyl won the 100 breast with a time of 1:18.11 to earn a provisional time.
The quartet of Hannah Woyscheszik, Motyl, Allie Rutherford and Karolina Bidnik won the 200 medley relay finishing in 2:10.53. Jay Farthing won the 800 free with a time of 10:20.55. Julia Secanell won the 200 free finishing in 2:19.53. Woyscheszik touched the wall in 1:11.40 to win the 100 back. Savannah Scheoman, Alejandra Martinez, Natascha Evreinoff and Gorska teamed up to win the 200 free relay with a time of 1:58.26.
The Blue Raiders are back in action for the Total Performance Invitational in Gambier, Ohio beginning on Nov. 16.
