Women’s Swimming Seventh After Day One of Total Performance Invitational

GAMBIER, Ohio – The Lindsey Wilson women's swimming team sits in seventh after the first day of the Total Performance Invitational.

The Blue Raiders totaled 86 points on the first day of the competition.

Natalia Gorksa finished seventh in the 50-yard freestyle. Gorska earned her spot in the finals after finishing the prelims with a time of 23.89 seconds. She earned a provisional standard in the finals with a time of 23.87. Hannah Woyscheszik and Natascha Evreinoff also earned provisional standards in the 50 free.

In the 200 IM, Azaliia Gabdrakipova finished with a time of 2:13.17 in the prelims to earn an provisional standard. Jaye Farthing earned a provisional standard in the 500 free with a time of 5:25.68

Evreinoff, Woyscheszik, Gabdrakipova and Gorska teamed up in the 200 free relay and finished 11th. Gabdrakipova, Julia Secanell, Evreinoff and Gorska finished 21st in the 400 IM relay.

The Blue Raiders return to the pool Friday morning for day two of the Total Performance Invitational.
