Women’s Swimming Finishes Seventh at Total Performance Invitational
GAMBIER, Ohio. – The Lindsey Wilson women's swimming team wrapped up competition at the Total Performance Invitational Saturday.
The Blue Raider totaled 262 points over the three-day event to finish in seventh.
Jaye Farthing finished 27th in the 1,650-yard freestyle with a time of 18:52.10 earning an NAIA provisional standard. Azaliia Gabradkipova finished 10th in the B final of the 200 back with a time of 2:11.14 earning a provisional standard. She also earned a provisional standard in the prelims with a time of 2:07.85.
Natalia Gorska finished eighth in the B final of the 100 free with a provisional standard time of 53.33. Hannah Woyscheszik and Natascha Evreinoff also earned provisional standards in the 100 free. Woyscheszik had time of 54.24 while Evreinoff recorded a time of 54.37.
The quartet of Gabdrakipova, Evreinoff, Woyscheszik and Gorska finished 29th in the 400 free relay with a time of 3:44.94.
The Blue Raiders return to action on Saturday, January 13 when they travel to Pulaski, Tennessee to face Tennessee Southern.
