Bio

Katharine Arbec begins her first year as the Athletics Department Office Associate in 2023. She previously spent the 2022-23 season as an assistant coach for the Blue Raider softball team, helping the program to a 20-24 overall record and a spot in the Mid-South Conference tournament.

In 2020, Arbec graduated from Kentucky State University in Frankfort with degrees in political science and psychology. Afterward, she received a master's degree in coaching and athletic administration from Concordia University of Irvine (Calif.) in May 2023 and is actively pursuing a second master's in coaching and exercise science.

Prior to her role with the Blue Raider softball team, Arbec spent two years as a graduate and volunteer assistant coach for Kentucky State.
