JV Men's Basketball Opens Season with a Commanding Win

COLUMBIA, Ky. - On Thursday evening, the Lindsey Wilson junior varsity men's basketball team opened its 2023-24 season at Biggers Sports Center, defeating Brescia (Ky.) 93-64.

Jeremiah Belton notched a game-high 20 points to pace the Blue Raider offense, and Phillip Dawkins chipped in 15 points. Jordan Turner also cracked into double figures as he hit three three-pointers en route to 13 points.

Lindsey Wilson led 47-25 at halftime and never looked back to rout the Bearcats in the season opener.

The Blue Raiders now travel to Owensboro for a 1 p.m. CST tip-off on Sunday afternoon.
