Men’s Basketball Hosts Toccoa Falls Tuesday

COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson men's basketball team hosts Toccoa Falls at 7 p.m. CT Tuesday at Bigger Sports Center.

The Blue Raiders (3-5) are coming off a 1-1 performance at the Thomas More Classic. Lindsey Wilson opened the classic with an 85-69 victory over Kent State Tuscarawas before falling to Cincinnati-Clermont 77-62. Against Cincinnati-Clermont, Kenyata Carbon led the Blue Raiders with 21 points on shooting while recording nine rebounds and four assists. Matt Khoury was also in double figures with 12 points on 4-of-8 shooting from beyond the arc. Lucas Ribiero grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds.

Lindsey Wilson this season is 2-2 at Biggers Sports Center. The Blue Raiders won their least home game on Nov. 14 against Welch 95-68. Carbon is averaging 16.3 points per game at home this season while Connor Robinson is averaging 13.5 points per game. Khoury is shooting 57.7 percent from beyond the arc at Biggers Sports Center this season.

Toccoa Falls enters tonight's contest with a record of 4-5. The Screaming Eagles have lost their last three games coming into tonight. Toccoa Falls was last in action on Monday where they fell to Campbellsville-Harrodsburg 95-94. The Screaming Eagles had three players with 20 or more points in the loss. Josh Parker led the team with 25 points and 15 rebound while Anthony Williams II had 23. Trashawn Wilson added 20 points.

Tonight's matchup is just the second meeting between the two schools. Lindsey Wilson is 1-0 against Toccoa Falls.
