John Meece enters his third season as head coach of both men's and women's bowling programs in 2023-24.

In the 2022-23 season, Meece coached the men's program's first All-Mid-South Conference honoree in four years. He also helped guide the men's team to the Intercollegiate Team Championship Sectional Tournament for the first time since 2019.

While the Lindsey Wilson position is Meece’s first head coaching job, he is familiar with the Blue Raider program. Meece competed for Lindsey Wilson bowling as a student-athlete for two seasons and later served as a volunteer assistant.

In addition to his coaching experience at Lindsey Wilson, Meece also volunteered at Bellarmine University and Russell County High School. He currently holds a Level 1 Coaching Certification from the United States Bowling Congress.
