Men’s Golf Sits in Second After Day One of Gibson Bay Invite

RICHMOND, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson men's golf team is in second following the first day of the Gibson Bay Invite at Gibson Bay Golf Course.

The Blue Raiders shot a 1-over par 577 (290-287) on the par-72 7,035 yard course. Lindsey Wilson sits two shots behind Campbellsville heading into the final day. The Blue Raiders recorded the most birdies in the first two rounds with 33 and carded the second-most eagles with two.

Callum Waugh sits atop the individual leaderboard with a 4-under par 140 (71-69). Waugh carded seven birdies, one eagle and shot -2 on par 3s. Rafe Blankenship sits tied for eighth with a one-over par 145 (73-72). Blankenship is tied for the third-most birdies with eight. Milan Reed is tied for 11th with a 146 (73-73).

Rio Saigal is tied for 13th with a 147 (73-74) while Toby White is tied for 23rd after carding a 151 (78-73) and also recorded an eagle. Briley Sharpe who is competing as an individual is tied for 25th with a 152 (74-78).

The Blue Raiders tee off for the final round of the Gibson Bay Invite on Tuesday morning at the Gibson Bay Golf Course.
