Wrestling Hits the Road for MSC Championships

COLUMBIA, Ky. – The No. 13-ranked Lindsey Wilson wrestling team is set to compete in the Mid-South Conference Men's Wrestling Championships held at Ephram White Gymnasium in Bowling Green, Ky. this weekend.

The Blue Raiders start competition on Friday, Feb. 17, at 10 a.m. CT and continue on Saturday at 10 a.m. CT with the Futures Tournament.

This tournament will follow a 16-man double-elimination style format with first, third, and fifth-place matches.

Lindsey Wilson will compete against the seven other Mid-South Conference foes in No. 15 Cumberland (Tenn.), No. 16 Cumberlands (Ky.), No. 13 Campbellsville (Ky.), No. 17 Thomas More (Ky.), (RV) Midway (Ky.), (RV) Pikeville (Ky.), and Rio Grande (Ohio).

Twelve grapplers will be competing on the mat for the Blue Raiders and every other team in the tournament except for Rio Grande (11) and Pikeville (5).

Seven of the eight teams represented in the field feature a combined 37 wrestlers ranked in the NAIA Coaches Poll Top 25.

Lindsey Wilson enters the conference tournament as regular-season champions after finishing with a perfect 7-0 record in Mid-South Conference action.
