Women’s Basketball Faces Alice Lloyd Away at Pippa Passes

COLUMBIA, Ky. - The Lindsey Wilson women's basketball team will travel to Pippa Passes, KY to face Alice Lloyd (3-2) on Friday evening at 5 p.m. CT.
The Blue Raiders (5-1) had a walk in the park in their last game where they hosted Welch College as they won 96-47. The Blue Raiders shot 54.4 percent and limited the Flames to just 27.4 percent from the field. Lindsey Wilson connected on 17-of-21 attempts from the charity stripe. Claire Fleming scored a career-high 17 points on 6-of-8 shooting while going 4-of-5 from the free throw line. Taylor Guess added 14 points while Sydnie Hall and Janiya Davis each scored 10 points. Davis also recorded a game-high nine rebounds.
The Eagles also faced Welch College on November 4 and convincingly won by 75-42. Both programs have faced each other 18 times and the Blue Raiders have an advantage of 15-3 in the series with Alice Lloyd not being able to pick up a win at home yet.
The Eagles come off a loss to No.13 Cumberlands (Ky.) on November 7. For Alice Lloyd, three players reached double figures. They were led on the night by Moore with 16 points. She added 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals. She was followed closely by Kash and Cowan, who both tossed in 15 points. Cowan would add 2 blocks.
The Blue Raiders will step on the court Friday, November 17, when they journey to Pippa Passes, KY to battle the Alice Lloyd Eagles for a 5 p.m. CT tipoff.
