Women’s Golf Competes on Day One of Music City Classic; Sumner Tied for Seventh

HERMITAGE, Tenn. - The Lindsey Wilson women's golf team competed on day one of the Music City Classic at Hermitage Golf Course General's Retreat.

The Blue Raiders sit in 12th after carding a two-round 621(307-314) on the 5,916 yard par-72 course. Hannah Sumner posted the best Lindsey Wilson finish in the first two rounds. Sumner is tied for seventh with a 5-over par 149 (70-79). She was one of three players to record an eagle on the day.

Katie Biddlecombe is tied for 11th with a 150 (76-74). Megan Mann is tied for 40th with a 155 (79-76). Mann leads the tournament in par-5 scoring shooting 6-under. She is also tied for the most birdies in the tournament with seven.

Lauren Holeman and Paige Gray round out the Lindsey Wilson scoring with a 169 and 172, respectively.

The final round of the Music City Classic gets underway on Tuesday morning.
