Women’s Golf Third After Day One of MSC Spring Tournament; Mann Leads Heading into Final Round
CROSSVILLE, Tenn. - The Lindsey Wilson women's golf team is third following the first day of the Mid-South Conference Spring Tournament at Bear Trace at Cumberland Mountain.
The Blue Raiders carded a 52-over par 636 (315-321) on the par-73 5,818 yard course. Lindsey Wilson recorded the most birdies in the first two rounds with 23. The Blue Raiders sit 16 shots behind leader Cumberlands (Ky.) and just one shot behind Cumberland (Tenn.) who is in second.
Megan Mann sits atop the individual leaderboard heading into the final round. Mann carded a 5-over par 151 (76-75). In the first two rounds, Mann leads the tournament with seven birdies. Zofia Wojcik is tied for 12th with a 161 (87-74).
Hannah Sumner is 21st with a 168 (82-86) while Lauren Holeman is tied for 22nd with a 170 (84-86). Paige Gray who is competing as an individual for the Blue Raiders is tied for 36th with a 178 (90-88).
The third and final round of the MSC Spring Tournament gets underway Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. CT at Bear Trace at Cumberland Mountain.
