COLUMBIA, Ky. – On Friday morning, the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) announced that fourteen members of the Lindsey Wilson College men’s and women’s swim teams had earned Individual Scholar All-American honors for the 2022-23 season.

Rivas to Represent Country on International Stage

COLUMBUS, Ga. – The Lindsey Wilson men’s swim team concluded its 2022-23 season on Saturday at the Columbus Aquatics Center in the final leg of competition at the NAIA National Championships. When the water settled, the Blue Raiders found themselves matched with their final finish from a season ago, ending in sixth place with a team score of 228 points. Fabio Martin headlined a trio of All-American recipients for the locals on the day with a school-record-breaking performance of 15:51.46 in the 1,650-yard freestyle, earning him fourth place and his third individual All-American accolade of the week.

More Records Fall as Men's Swimming Holds on to Sixth at NAIA Championships

COLUMBUS, Ga. – The Lindsey Wilson men's swim team stayed put in sixth place after day three of the NAIA National Championships on Friday. Three individuals secured All-American status, as did the fourth different relay of the week. Jose Angel Rivas got the morning session started with a school-record time of 4:04.06 in the 400-yard individual medley. However, that record did not stand for long as the freshman went on to wipe another 3.05 seconds off in the finals, earning him a fifth-place time of 4:01.01 and his second individual All-American accolade of the week.
